In accordance with UNESCO’s mandate to maintain momentum in improving world teaching methods and reach, the Global Teacher Foundation’s (“GTF”) mission is to enhance teaching methods with training for teachers around the world in the areas of motivation, discovery of individual talents and potential, core course knowledge, better instructional methods,  improved communication, and proper material review for testing.

In working with teachers worldwide, the GTF’s goal is to encourage students at all levels to continue their education, to impact personal prosperity, and to further a world with better human values and skills.  With more than 800 million adults still illiterate in the world, the road to alleviate poverty and social exclusion through education and cultural training has long been seen by UNESCO and other international organizations, as an achievable goal due to continuing efforts of organizations like the GTF working together for the common good.
